55th Class Selected for California Agricultural Leadership Program
The California Agricultural Leadership Foundation today announced the 24 emerging leaders who will form Class 55 of the California Agricultural Leadership Program — the longest-running ag leadership program in the United States.
The new class will travel together for the next 17 months across seminars hosted by the foundation's five partner universities: UC Davis, Cal Poly Pomona, Fresno State, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and Chico State.
"Each class brings a different mix of geography, commodity, and lived experience to the room," said the program's executive director. "Class 55 is no exception — we have growers, ranchers, ag lenders, and commodity-group leaders from every region of the state."
The program's curriculum focuses on self-knowledge, systems thinking, and exposure to perspectives outside California agriculture. Each class participates in domestic travel seminars and an international experience as part of the immersion.
Class 55 begins its first session in fall 2026 and graduates in early 2028.
